Center for Survivors of Torture (CST) is pleased to announce the election of two new board members, Ms. Jeanne Stamp and Mr. Robert Massonneau.
Ms. Stamp has worked for thirty years as a social worker in both Texas and California. Her experience has been in the field of child welfare, domestic abuse, and trauma resolution. She understands the issues involved with extreme instability, the difficulties of adapting to a new culture, and the impact of trauma on individual lives, not only the trauma experienced through their abuse experiences, but the trauma of grief and loss, and of cultural adaptation.
Mr. Massonneau is mission driven, passionate about making a difference in the lives of others. He has worked in the nonprofit sector for the past twenty eight years, holding a variety of positions. Mr. Massonneau is particularly skilled in organizational development, program design, fund development, grant writing, media relations and marketing and has developed his own consulting firm, RM Nonprofit Consulting, to offer his skills to nonprofit organizations in the Dallas-Fort Worth area.
