Our Legal Coordinator, Pankti Bhatt, JD, and a CST client headed to Capitol Hill on June 27th to speak at a briefing to highlight the importance of the United Nations Voluntary Fund for Victims of Torture. The Fund has had a significant decrease in contributions this past year and CST, joined with fellow torture survivor centers and human rights commissions, spoke about the importance of the fund that provides critical financial support for our centers.
