As winter approaches, I am happy to report that Center for Survivors of Torture (CST) extended its reach by collaborating with more than 100 organizations and offering specialized training to those who want to work with survivors. CST’s program is award winning and sound. More than 85 percent of CST clients meet their counseling goals within a 6-month period. Thus far in FY 2012 CST has served 356 torture survivors. We will have 400 clients requesting services in 2013, including 50 children that have had formal intakes. Please help a survivor by reaching out to CST as a volunteer or donor this holiday season.
